This is one of the finds from the new second hand store (which I can’t recall the name of) I came across on my Sunday walk.

A sleeveless white shirt in a great silky material, at $48 it was bit expensive for me but something tells me I will get a lot of use out of it. (Sorry about the mirrorface!)

I’ve had this scarf for as long as I can remember. See, I’ve always had a thing for leopard prints, and now that they’re suddenly all the rage again I’m all set! I think it was my grandmother’s, but I can’t really remember.

Mexikansk Coca Cola har nått närmast kultstatus här i USA, mycket eftersom den fortfarande håller sig till originalreceptet och använder socker istället för stärkelsesirap (som ju är jättesuperdåligt för allt vad hälsan heter). Den smakar faktiskt så mycket bättre, och säljs i fin glasflaska. Många beställer hem från eBay, men jag har sån tur att vår lilla latino-deli på hörnet säljer dessa pärlor. Dock dricks de inte för ofta, för det är ju inte direkt hälsokost.

För övrigt så är det Johanna-dagen idag, undrar hur jag ska fira det?

Mexican Coke has achieved close to cult status here in the U.S, largely because it still sticks to the original recipe and uses sugar instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup (that we all know us really superbad for you). It does taste so much better, and comes in a pretty glass bottle. Many order bottles from eBay, but lucky for me the little latino-Deli in the corner carries these precious things. I don’t drink it too often though, it’s not health food after all.

The material for these garment has been grown in a vat of liquid, using cellulose-spinning bacteria The designer behind the Central Saint Martin’s-based research project, called BioCouture, is Suzanna Lee. These seamless pieces of clothing have the look and feel of vegetable leather and can be dyed in any shade (see the “denim” jacket in indigo).
