I Söndags bjöd en av mina vänner med mig att delta som statist i en konstfilmsinspelning. Hon kände regissören, och det enda vi visste vara att filmen gjordes för Sting och att vi skulle ha på oss självlysande färg. Inspelningen var i en studio i Williamsburg och det var runt tio av oss “skådisar” där. Regissören placerade oss i olika formationer, målade våra armar och ben med den självlysande färgen och tog bilder till en stop-motion animering som ska användas på Stings kommande turné. En lite annorlunda eftermiddag… Jag visar den färdiga filmen när jag får se den.

- Glow-in-the-dark hand.
On Sunday a friend invited me to come along as an extra for an art video shoot. She knew the director, and the only other things we knew were that the video was for Sting and that we were to wear phosphorescent (glow-in-the-dark) paint. The shoot was in a studio in Williamsburg and there were about ten of us “actors” there. The director placed us into formations, painted our limbs with the phosphorescent paint and took shots for a stop-motion animation that will be used on Sting’s upcoming tour. An afternoon a bit out of the ordinary… I will share the finished video whenever I get to see it.
