BIOCOUTURE

Materialet till dess plagg har odlats i en vätskebehållare, av cellulosa-spinnande bakterier. Designern bakom forskningsprojektet som kallas BioCouture och gjordes på Central Saint Martin’s i London heter Suzanna Lee. Dessa sömlösa plagg ser ut och känns som vegetabiliskt skinn och kan färgas i vilken nyans som helst (kolla “jeansjackan” i indigo). These seamless pieces of clothing have the look and feel of vegetable leather and can be dyed in any shade (see the “denim” jacket in indigo).
